What are my chance of getting admission in xlri jamshedpur in hr ? I have 70% in 10th ,45% in 12th, 68% in bsc and im nc obc category.
As per the information provided by you, your marks are just average and not that good enough to get you a profile based call.. You can get into xlri only if you manage to get good percentile in xat. By good marks i mean a percentile above 96. So I'll suggest you to work hard and study well..
All the best..
HOW MANY PERCENTILE FOR TO ADMITION IN XLRI
Hello
Last year the cutoff for Xavier School of Management Jamshedpur PGDM(BM) was 96 and this year it has increased due to the increasing population.
and the cutoff for XLRI PGDM(HRM) was 94.

at what percentile I will get interview call for IIM and other top B-schools if my profile is (10 - 10 cgpa, 12-92.4% and B.com- 8.77 GPA)?
CAT or Common Admission Test, national level management entrance conducted for admission to 20 IIMs and in more than 1000 B-schools across India.
With that profile you need 99.5+ percentile to get interview call from top IIMs.
However these percentile vary every year deoending upon factors like level of toughness of exam and number of students appearing etc.

Can i get into xlri or iim with a 3 years of gap in my academics?
Hii aspirant..
If you are having three years of gap in my academics it is not going to effect your chance of getting admissions at IIM or XLRI.
But instead the work experience you were having while working for these three years is going to act as a boon for you during the selection process in these colleges.
During the selection process of IIMs and XLRI not only your CAT score will be playing the important part but instead your previous academics, your work experience, your interpersonal skill is going to play a very important part.
Thus, instead of worrying you should know that the gap between your academics and your work experience during it is going to work positively for you.
Hope it helps.
Best of luck for your future.
I scored 46% in my graduation. But If I clear the xat cutoff of xlri then Can I get admission for pgdm in this college? Please help
Hi Rishabh,
Its perfectly fine if your score in graduation is low. They don't have any eligibility criteria for minimum score requirement in your graduation. However, you need be graduated from a well established recognised institute. Do well in your XAT exam, surely you will get it the admission, if you score at least above 95 percentile in the exam.
I hope I have cleared your doubt. Wish you all the best.
Hi there ! I am an average student .
Hello aspirant,
For CAT, in written exam you need to score 98+ percentile if you are from general category. In interview round, marks of 12th, 10th and graduation do matters. As they will call for interview after looking your profile which include previous years marks. But If you score more than 99 percentile and can ace the personal interview you can definitely make through the CAT. Work hard, it will pay off
Best of luck!!

I am an MBA graduate & having work experience of 5 years in sales & I want to do Executive MBA in top B-Schools like XLRI , kindly guide me
Hi,
With 5years of experience you will be able to join the 1 year GMP course at XLRI. It is earier to get into this course because the cutoff vary a lot it even goes down to 80%. When i gave XAT in 2015 it was as low as 65%. Even GMAT scores are accepted and that also varies from 640 to 700 based on your profile.
If you give GMAT and score above 700 then you will have plathora of options. ISB, SPJain and even Great Lakes. If your profile way to strong then you could try for other colleges in US like INSEAD,YALE if you are lucky you may even make to Harvard.
