What is the full form of KSISF?

The full form of KSISF is the Karnataka State Industrial Security force. Karnataka KSISF conducts an entrance examination for the police force. Karnataka State Industrial Security Force(KSISF) is a unit of the Internal Security Division (ISD), Karnataka.
KSISF, Karnataka's special security unit trained to protect and persist all Vital installations in Karnataka are under the vigilance of specially trained KSISF staff and officers. Security and safety are the main agenda of KSISF.

Background of KSISF

The KSISF was conceived on the lines of CISF in 2012 to address the need for special security in critical infrastructure facilities like Vidhana Soudha, Vikasa Soudha, Dams, Bengaluru metro, airport terminals, power plants, important Government buildings, and iconic heritage monuments across Karnataka state.

KSISF officers are trained for special weapons, tactics training, and regular firing training in line with the central Para- military force and can match them in case of any eventuality.

How to apply for KSISF:

Candidates who wish to give KSISF entrance exams should apply them from their official website.

Application fee for entrance exam:

Candidates belonging to GM / OBC must pay 500/-

And, for SC/ ST / CAT-01 is Rs 250/-

Exam fees should only be paid from HDFC bank or post offices.

Levels of selection:

1. Written examination

• Paper-1: basic questionnaire.

• Paper-2: consists of general knowledge.

A minimum of 30% or more is mandatory to pass the entrance test

2. Physical endurance test (PET)

3. Physical standard test (PST)

4. Interview

Salary of KSISF

Candidates selected from KSISF will get a salary under the pay scale of Rs 37900/- to Rs 70850/-

Eligibility Criteria of KSISF

• Candidates should be graduated from any field.

• Candidate can read, write and speak Kannada fluently

• Candidates should meet the physical and medical fitness criteria.

• Age criteria are different for different categories.
