  • B.Tech./B.E. (Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized Indian university or institution is required for AE (Electrical). The candidate should have at least three years' worth of experience in multi-story building projects, including the necessary infrastructure.

  • B. Arch. from an accredited Indian university or institution is required for assistant architects. The applicant must have at least three years of experience designing all sorts of buildings with linked services and be registered with the Council of Architecture.

  • M. Tech. or M. E. (Structural) from an Indian university or institution accredited by the AICTE is required for AE (Structural). The candidate should be knowledgeable with the foundation system and high-rise structural design.

  • B. Tech./ B.E. (Mechanical/ Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized Indian university or institution is required for AE (MEP engineers). The candidate should have at least three years of expertise in multi-story structures planning and implementing plumbing, piping, HVAC, lift, and fire fighting systems.

  • For AAO (Chartered Accountant), candidates must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited Indian university or institution and pass the institute's final examination in addition to completing the articles required by the institute. An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is required for the position.

  • For AAO (Actuarial), candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited Indian university or institution, and as of the date of eligibility, they must have successfully completed at least six of the examination's twelve papers administered by the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. The Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK will verify the candidates' membership number, which they must give.

  • Bachelor's degree in law or LLM from an accredited Indian university or institution is required for AAO (Legal). Bar experience spanning three years is required.

  • Graduation in engineering (computer science, IT, or electronics), or an MCA or MSC (computer science) from a reputable Indian university or institution is required for the position of AAO (IT).

  • For AAO (Rajbhasha), candidates must have either a postgraduate master's degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at the bachelor's degree level OR a postgraduate master's degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at the bachelor's degree level OR a postgraduate master's degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the bachelor's degree level.

Recruitment Process of LIC AAO

Preliminary and main examinations are part of the selection process for the position of LIC Assistant Administrative Officer, which is followed by an in-person interview.
