What is full form of NCR ?
The full form of NCR is the National capital region. It is the area in India that comprises the entire Delhi and urban areas of the neighbouring states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan. NCR is one of the world's largest agglomerations. In the year 2011-12, NCR generated $129 billion in GDP, which is 7.5% of the total GDP of India in that particular year. The very first plan of the NCR planning board was to develop the broad area of Delhi and surrounding towns as metropolitan regions to reduce the population.

History of NCR
NCR was created in 1985 under the National capital Region planning board Act.NCR was created for the development of the region and to plan the uses of land and the development of infrastructure in the area.NCR contains ecologically sensitive areas like the Aravalli ridge, forests, wildlife, and bird sanctuaries. Initially, NCR consisted of 11 districts from all the 3 states. Gautam Budh Nagar district was not part of NCR. It was created in 1997 from the existing districts of Bulandshahar and Ghaziabad. Noida city was the location of the new district's headquarters. In July 2013, the NCR was expanded and included three more districts, Bhiwani and Mahendragarh in the state of Haryana, as well as Bharatpur in the state of Rajasthan.
