What is the full form of PCC?

The full form of PCC is simply the Police Clearance Certificate. This certificate is required for applying for a job in foreign countries.The Pcc are usually issued to those Indian Passport holders who are applying for residential status,and long-term visas, as well as immigration, or for work abroad.The Pcc is a legal certificate that is issued by a government body or police department to confirm that the applicant does not have a criminal record.

Process of applying

  • First, we need to Sign up at the Passport Seva Online Portal. Then, we Click on the “Register Now” link on the Home Page.

  • Secondly, we now use the Login Id provided to us in the previous step to log in to the Passport Seva Online Portal.

  • Now, we press on the “Apply for PCC” button.

  • Now, we fill out and submit the necessary information.

  • In the next step,you now have to pay online to get the appointment.

  • Next, we need to press the “Print Application Receipt” button to print a receipt comprising the ARN (Application Reference Number) or Appointment Number.

  • Finally, we can now visit the stated PSK (Passport Seva Kendra ) or RPO (Regional Passport Office) along with your relevant original documents.
