Dr. Sudhir Raniwala is a pioneer in the field of Physics, and carries out experimental research programs at CERN, the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. He has been visiting scientist at the Indian National Science Academy to the Department of Atomic Energy of the Govt. of India; associate at CERN; and senior associate at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics in Italy. His TedX talk on "Little Bangs In The Laboratory" at St. Xavier's, Mumbai in 2020, aimed at answering one of the most challenging questions there is -- on the origin of the universe. He retired as Professor and Dean from the University of Rajasthan in 2020 where he initiated a major change in the curricula. He is currently Professor Emiratus, JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur.
