If you have completed the retention form for B.Sc. Nursing admission through the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) round and are considering canceling it, here's how you can approach the situation:

1. **Understand Retention Rules**: Retention typically means that you have secured your seat and are committed to continuing. However, if you want to cancel, you need to review the retention and cancellation policies specific to the institution and the CAP guidelines.

2. **Contact Admission Authority**: Reach out to the admission office of the college where you retained your seat. Explain your situation and request guidance on how to cancel the retention and admission. They will provide instructions on the process and any associated deadlines.

3. **Submit a Cancellation Request**: If allowed, you may need to submit a formal cancellation request. This could be a written application or an email, depending on the college's requirements. Include your retention details, admission date (31/08/2024), and the reason for cancellation.

4. **Refund and Consequences**: Inquire about the refund policy and any financial implications. Institutions often have specific rules regarding refunds and penalties for cancellation, so it's crucial to understand these before proceeding.

5. **Follow Official Procedures**: Adhere to all official procedures and deadlines to ensure your cancellation is processed smoothly.

Act promptly and stay in communication with the relevant authorities to handle your cancellation effectively.

I got 178th rank in APPGECET 2024 ME-Paper.Do I have a chance to get a seat in jntuk

monag2673 12th Sep, 2024

With a rank of 178 in the APPGECET 2024 for the ME (Mechanical Engineering) paper, you have a reasonable chance of securing a seat at JNTU Kakinada (JNTUK), but it depends on several factors:

1. **Previous Year Cutoffs**: Check the previous year’s cutoff ranks for Mechanical Engineering at JNTUK. If your rank is within or better than the previous year’s cutoffs, your chances are good. JNTUK generally has varying cutoffs based on the number of applicants and available seats.

2. **Counseling Process**: During the counseling process, seats are allocated based on rank, preference, and availability. Since you are ranked 178, you may be considered for one of the available seats, especially if you prioritize JNTUK in your choice list.

3. **Number of Seats**: Mechanical Engineering is a popular branch, and JNTUK offers several seats in this discipline. If there are many seats available and your rank is within the acceptable range, you are likely to get a seat.

4. **Special Categories**: If you belong to any reserved category or have specific preferences (like a particular specialization), it might also affect your chances.

Monitor the counseling schedule closely and stay in touch with the admission authorities to ensure you make the most of your rank.

what would be minimum marks For admission My mrks is 225 Neet 2024 and I m from Bhilwara

Hridaya Rao 12th Sep, 2024
Hello Student,

The minimum marks required for admission through NEET can vary depending on the category you belong to, the type of college (government or private), and the specific state cutoffs. Heres a general breakdown of minimum marks in NEET for MBBS admissions:

1. Government Medical Colleges:
General Category: 550+ marks (in most states, including Rajasthan)
OBC Category: 500540+ marks
SC/ST Categories: 400450+ marks

2. Private Medical Colleges:
General Category: 350500+ marks
OBC Category: 300450+ marks
SC/ST Categories: 250400+ marks

3. Deemed Universities/Management Quota:
General/OBC/SC/ST: 200350+ marks

These are rough estimates and can fluctuate based on the number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, and the state-specific reservation policies.

With 225 marks in NEET 2024, getting admission to a government medical college would be difficult, as the cutoffs for such institutions are generally higher, especially for unreserved categories. However, with this score, you could explore the following options:

1. Private Medical Colleges

2. Management Quota Seats

3. Reserved Category (if applicable)

4. Dental and Allied Health Sciences Courses

Hope it helps! Thankyou.
