I want to give gate exam using pwd quota, but currently i dont have pwd udid certificate. So i was thinking i should give gate exam with general reservation for now. but i have question that when applying for psu jobs, will here i be able to apply for pwd quota?

kumardurgesh1802 24th Sep, 2024

Hello Neha,

Yes, you can still apply for PSU jobs under the PwD quota later, even if you give the GATE exam under the general category for now. The GATE exam itself doesn’t restrict you from applying to jobs under a different category later, as it only reflects your score and rank, not your category.

When applying for PSU jobs, you'll have the option to apply under the PwD category, provided you have the valid UDID certificate by then. Just make sure to obtain your PwD UDID certificate before the PSU job application process begins. The key is having the certificate at the time of applying for jobs, not necessarily during the GATE exam. This way, you can still avail all the benefits of PwD reservation during the job application process.

So, it's okay to give GATE under general reservation now, as long as you plan to get your PwD certificate before applying for jobs.

Juee Hote 24th Sep, 2024

Candidates must complete their 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their major subjects and obtain a minimum of: in order to be eligible for NEET 2025.

50% of total points in the general category

40% of the total points in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) for the OBC, SC, and ST categories

Considering your grades:

Biology: total = 9 theoretical + 30 practical = 39

Physics: 29 (theoretical) + 30 (practical) = 59 total

Chemistry: 30 theoretical + 30 applied = 60 in total

You should confirm that your total aggregate in the PCB subjects satisfies the required % for the OBC category, even though you might be eligible.

2212166 is rank par MBBS ya BDS Clg mil shkta hai kya addmission

kumardurgesh1802 24th Sep, 2024

Hello Shivani,

With a NEET rank of 2,212,166, getting admission to an MBBS or BDS college might be quite difficult. MBBS seats, especially in government colleges, are highly competitive and typically require a much better rank. BDS also tends to have limited seats and may require a rank within a more competitive range.

However, you may still explore options in private medical or dental colleges, but this might involve higher fees. Additionally, if you're eligible for any reservation category (SC, ST, OBC, etc.), your chances might improve slightly, depending on the cutoff for that category.

It's best to keep an eye on counseling rounds and check seat availability, as sometimes seats may open up during later rounds. You can also consider other courses in paramedical or allied health sciences, which may have lower cutoff ranks.

I would recommend you to use NEET college predictor tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank.

I took 2 years drop 1st year self study and 2nd year from coaching. coaching is ready to give gap certificate of 1 year. if I apply gap certificate in court for 1st drop. I will have 2 gap certificate. what to do now

monag2673 24th Sep, 2024

If you've taken two years of drop for preparation, with the first year being self-study and the second year with coaching, handling the gap certificate situation requires careful planning.

Since your coaching is offering a gap certificate for the second year, you could use that as valid proof for one year. However, for the first year, where you self-studied, you'll need to ensure that you account for this gap responsibly. You can apply for a gap certificate through the court for the first year. A gap certificate is a legal document that justifies the reason for a break in your academic progression.

In most cases, universities and institutions accept gap certificates to clarify any breaks in education. By obtaining a court-issued gap certificate for the first year and using the coaching's certificate for the second year, you'll have documented both years of gap properly.

Make sure to clearly state your reasons for the gap in the court affidavit, such as competitive exam preparation. Having two gap certificates—one from the court and one from coaching—should provide adequate proof of your academic gap, ensuring transparency and compliance with the admission process.

hope this helps you!!

2212166 rank par MBBS Mai konsa clg mil shkta hai kya

Deepti Singh 24th Sep, 2024

Hello Shivani!

With a NEET rank of 2212166, the chances of getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college are highly slim, but some private medical colleges or deemed universities.

Usually, government colleges are providing seats in a limited number and with a relatively high cut-off rank for students, which makes it rather tough to get admission for students belonging to lower ranks. However, there are some private colleges offering seats through management quota. But the fees for them are very high and notably so.

There are also deemed universities that accept lower ranks, but again, the fees may be substantial. It is always better to refer to the list of nearby colleges and contacting them directly to ask about the admission process and fee structure.

Conclusion

With a rank in this range, you should concentrate on finding out all possibilities in private colleges or deemed universities and do exhaustive research on the same.
