Hello Dear Student,
With a 66 percentile in MHT CET PCM, securing a CS or IT seat in top-tier colleges will be challenging. However, you have excellent chances of admission for core branches (Mechanical, Civil, ENTC) in reputable engineering colleges across Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra.

I have scored 40 %tile engg. in my 2nd attempt of mhtcet (which I know is not good at all) & from NT 3 category so please can you suggest me a good cllg in mumbai suburban/thane/pune or in such vicinity with any stream ( cllg>>stream)

Ananya Hira 20th Jun, 2026

First, don't panic about the 40 percentile. Since you're from the NT-3 (GNT3) category , you can get better options than an Open-category student with the same percentile, especially in lower-demand branches and during later CAP/Institute rounds.

Also, your priority "College > Branch" is actually sensible if you're not fixed

Hello Dear Student,

With a 68 percentile in JEE Main (approx.  rank 3.75–4.00 lakh ), admission to top-tier Pune colleges like COEP or PICT for Computer Science is not possible , as these typically require significantly higher scores (160+ in MHT-CET or very high JEE ranks).

I have secured a merit rank of 7217 in the Diploma to Degree (D2D) engineering admission process. My category is SEBC, and I would like to opt for the TFWS (Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme). I am interested in pursuing Mechanical Engineering. Could you please guide me on which government or reputed self-financed colleges I can easily secure admission into based on my rank and category?
