direct admission is possible for BSC nursing?

Tanya Gupta 30th Mar, 2025

Hello,

Yes, **direct admission in B.Sc. Nursing** is possible, especially in **private colleges and deemed universities**. These institutions often offer seats based on **12th marks (preferably in PCB)** without requiring entrance exams. However, **government colleges and reputed institutions** usually require entrance tests like **NEET, AIIMS Nursing, or state-level exams**. It’s advisable to check the specific college's admission criteria and apply early, as seats may fill up quickly.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

Rubina Naseer 29th Mar, 2025

Hello!

Yes, a dual degree in B.Tech is possible. Several universities and institutes in India offer integrated dual-degree programs, where students can earn both a B.Tech and an M.Tech (or another specialization) in a shorter time, typically 5 years instead of 6 (4 years B.Tech + 2 years M.Tech).

Key Points:

  1. Types of Dual Degrees :

    • B.Tech + M.Tech (Integrated 5-year program)

    • B.Tech + MBA (For management aspirants)

    • B.Tech + B.Sc. / B.A. (Interdisciplinary courses in some universities)

  2. Eligibility :

    • Completion of 10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).

    • Admission through entrance exams like JEE Advanced (for IITs) or university-specific tests .

  3. Benefits :

    • Saves time and effort.

    • Better career prospects with a specialized degree.

    • Research opportunities in integrated M.Tech programs.

To check availability, visit the official websites of IITs, NITs, IIITs, and private universities offering dual-degree programs.

What is the passing marks addmission

Sumona Maiti 29th Mar, 2025

Hello,

I think your question seems to be incomplete, but let me give you answer as per my knowledge. If you are asking for Class 10th and 12th board then the passing mark is 27 out of 70/80 that is 33% or 33 marks out of 100. If you are asking for JEE mains 90 - 95 for General category. If you are asking for NEET 720 -162 for General category. I had just listed the marks of few of the main examination. Comment below for which particular exam you are asking the passing marks.

Hope you find your answers.
