Hello Mahendra,
To get MCA admission for the 2025 batch as a B.Com graduate without 12th Mathematics but with Statistics in both 12th and B.Com:
-
Eligibility
: Most universities accept Statistics as an alternative to Mathematics. Confirm with Gujarat University for specific requirements.
-
Bridge Course
: If PCM is mandatory, complete a bridge course in Mathematics from an approved institution.
-
Entrance Exams
: Prepare for exams like GUJCET or NIMCET (application period: Feb-April 2025). Focus on Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, English, and Computer Awareness.
-
Documents
: Keep your 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets ready, along with entrance exam results.
- Alternative Universities : Consider private universities with flexible criteria if needed.

I have missed both my half yearly and pre boards due to financial issues( my school has a policy of not letting students sit for exams if they dont have admit code , a code which is given when the student pays their due fees ) . we have paid half of the fees , but it will take time to complete the whole due . Can the school hold my admit card for this or create any kind of problem for this?
Hello,
Schools cannot legally withhold a student's admit card for unpaid fees if it prevents them from appearing in board exams. Admit cards are issued by the board (e.g., CBSE, ICSE), and schools act only as facilitators.
-
Right to Education : Denying a student access to board exams violates the fundamental right to education under Article 21A of the Constitution of India.
-
School Fees Disputes : While schools can pursue fee recovery through legal or administrative means, they cannot punish students academically for financial disputes.
-
Seek Help : Reach out to your school principal, explaining your situation, or write to the board requesting intervention. Provide proof of partial payment.
-
Legal Action : If the issue persists, contact a legal aid organization or child rights commission in your area to prevent further action by the school.
Hope it helps !
