Greetings
NEET is an entrance exam conducted by NTA to get admission in courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS etc
The minimum eligibility for NEET entrance exam is 10+2 or appearing with Physics Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology from a well recognised board.
The percentage criteria to be eligible for NEET entrance exam is as followed to be obtained in PCB.
UR/EWS- 50%
OBC/SC/ST- 40%
UR(PH)-45%
If your marks are matching the above criteria you are eligible for NEET. Thank you
hello aspirant,
To get eligible in NEET Exams you have to score an aggregate percentage of 50% (if you are UR category) and 40% or 45% if you are from Reserved Category. So according to your total of 130 marks in PCB, you have aggregate percentage of around 43.33 percentage which is less than the 50%. So, you are not eligible for NEET Exam. To apply for NEET candidates must qualify Class 12 marks criteria i.e. UR – 50%, OBC/SC/ST – 40%, PWD – 45%. But during the time of admission or counselling there is no weightage given to class 12 marks.
Furthermore, if you do not know how to calculate the Aggregate of marks in PCB, then you can follow the below procedure: To calculate percentage marks in physics chemistry and Biology you need to get the marks obtained in physics chemistry and Biology and then divide it by the maximum marks of each subjects that is if each paper consists of hundred marks then marks obtained by you out of 300 / 300 x 100 to get the percentage marks.
Further, to know more about the NEET Eligibility criteria, you can follow the below ,mentioned link to know more : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria-2022#:~:text=Must%20have%20passed%2010%2B2,eligible%20to%20apply%20for%20NEET.
I hope that this will help.
And it's has been 3days my results came out!
So should I able to give the neet entrence.
