Hi abhrajeet
I will tell you something. See selection of a book for any subject depends on to what you want to pursue in the field, you asked for physics then surely you are a science student with either PCM or PCB as subjects.
First of all, you are from CBSE board then the most important book is your NCERT textbook. So now If you are a PCM student and want to pursue B.Tech then for numericals consult 'concepts of physics' by H.C. Verma. For theoretical part you can go with books of 'pradeep', 'ABC' or 'GRB' publications, and for you NCERT can also be sufficient as a theory book if you have an excellent teacher, who can give you all concepts so that you can solve H.C. Verma very easily. Now if you just want to become a science graduate with PCM then you should not bother much and continue your studies without getting panic, just study NCERT thoroughly. If you are from PCB and want to crack NEET then for numericals you can solve 'Ratan's guide' or you can also go with study notes of coaching like ALLEN'S, it's notes are best for theory as well as for numericals. Again if you just want to be a graduate then you should know that you won't be able to get physics in your graduation because you are from biology group, so you should clear your concepts through NCERT only so that you can get shear good marks in boards and try to solve subjective questions. For competitive exams like NEET and JEE objective questions are must and you should have objective approach and pay more attention to objective questions. But for getting good marks in boards you should pay more attention to subjective questions. So according to your need you should select books.
Hope this helps you!
All the best.
