I would like to inform you that Architecture course has been made available to all, even Commerce as well as Arts and Humanities stream students! CoA (Council of Architecture) is the authority that regulates Architecture education in India. There exist some eligibility criteria though, which you have to satisfy. And the eligibility criteria for it is that Candidate must have passed 10+2 Schooling in any stream, with mathematics subject, from a recognized board. Student must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in board examination. This is the basic eligibility criteria- 10+2 passed with mathematics subject! Minimum marks criteria may vary from one institute to another. To secure admission in reputed Architecture institutes, one must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) test. Architecture colleges conduct admission process through this entrance test. Commerce stream students may make use of it to secure admission in an Architecture institute.
