The MHT-CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education.
Now to answer your question, The minimum qualifying marks of 50% of the total marks (75 out of 100) in MHT CET for b.tech.

Yes, you can easily get admission for b.tech on the basis of MHTCET. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai for admissions to first year Engineering and Technology programmes (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy programmes (BPharma/PharmaD) in the state.The questions will be based on Syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.20% weightage will be given to the questions from Std. XI syllabus and 80% weightage will be given to the questions from Std. XII syllabus while setting the question paper.There will be no Negative Marking, The questions will be mainly application based.
