Its highly impossible to get mechanical at main branch with your rank..
You can check the cutoff of previous years

Hey Aditya.
In 2017 the cut off for admssion in the mechanical branch in Manipal University, Manipal campus was 6138.
A similar cut off is expected this year too hence the chances seem bleak.
