can i study bsc in astrophysics after having a diploma
To get a career in astrophysics, you will have to first complete BSc degree in astronomy, astrophysics or physics and hence you may qualify for entry-level jobs in astrophysics. The admission process may vary college to college. Most likely there is an entrance exam for this course but you will have to check in the college you intend to study in.
Later if interested, you can do MSc degree in astrophysics which is required for most research assistant and consulting positions.
For higher studies you can also pursue Phd in the same to became theoretical astrophysicists or observational astrophysicists etc.
The minimum eligibility required to be met for admission to the Bsc astrophysics is a 10+2 qualification from a recognized educational Board with Physics and Mathematics as two of the main subjects with a minimum aggregate score of 50%
