CMC Vellore is a Christian Minority Medical College. And it has an annual intake of 100. All the seats are filled through State Counselling alone. 74 seats are filled by the Sponsored Candidates of members of Associated Churches. 10 are allotted for the wards of CMC Staff. 1 is filled by the Central Government. 3 seats are allotted to SC/ST. The rest are filled by Open Merit. All the 100 seats are filled on the basis of Merit and preference.
