Define electric current density and write its relation with the current. Derive the relation between current density and electric field intensity
Hello Aspirant,
Electric current density is defined as the amount of charge flowing through a unit area of cross section.
J = I/A
Where J is current density and A is area of cross section.
Relation between current density and electric field
I = V/R
R = pl/A
I/A = V/pl
J = &E
Where & is sigma which is equal to 1/p
I have to write this ' &' sign instead of sigma because i am not able to find sigma key in my keyboard.
I hope the above information is beneficial for you.
All the best.
