Yes, it is necessary to go for certificate verification for TS EAMCET to get admission into one of the colleges. After the verification of your certificates only you will be able to sit for the counseling process.
Make sure to select a suitable slot for yourself and attend the verification with all the documents mentioned, carrying 2 xerox copies of each document.
