No, it is not required to write neet entrance exam for taking admission in Bsc biotechnology as NEET is only required for MBBS/BDS.You don't need to worry as biotechnology in bachelor's of Science or in bachelor's of technology does not demand neet exam.You can take admission based on 12th class minimum criteria and entrance exam specific to particular college or institute.The eligibility criteria is given below
- Candidate needs to have a minimum combined score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at both Higher Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.
- Candidate should have studied Physics, Biology and Chemistry as main subjects at 10+2 level with a minimum combined score of 60% in all three.
