Unfortunately motivation is not an emotion. It is a fire that keeps your dreams intact and reminds you that you have goals to reach and dreams to achieve. It needs a constant uplift. Unless you remind yourself of your dreams and aspirations, it is hard to be motivated to achieve them. And always make a list of your Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats that can either help you or pull you back from achieving a seat in IIT. If you think you are good at Mathematics, put it under your Strengths column. If you think your lack  of confidence is harming your preparation, put it under Threats column. Confidence can be identified through your level of enthusiasm. You can develop confidence by imagining prior situations where the circumstances were similar but emerged successfully.

Control: Controlling negative thoughts , feelings and emotions from overtaking your mind is essential. Only allowing positivity is important.

Committment: Commitment to your goals is what determines your success to a certain level. Goals need to be short term and long term.
