You can do b.e. from nsut which is a government college. You can also pursue b.tech from dtu, iiitd which are also government colleges in Delhi. For that you have to register online at jac Delhi website before the end date of application i.e. 18th June 2019.
You can also apply for b.tech in du. Its application registration has been started from 30 may 2019.
But doing b.tech from du will not be a good decision.
Iits, NITs are best government engineering colleges after that dtu, NSIT,and iiitd are good engineering colleges. So if you want to pursue btech than you should take admission in a good college as it decide your future.
If you want to do bsc. than du is the better option.
Now it depends on your wish what you want to do...
Your 12th percentage is pretty good .
But your Jee main score is not enough to take admission in nit or any IIIT college .
Your may got state government college of your own state . Maximum all the State government decided to take admission through Jee main so you have greater chance . So attain counseling of for your own state government college.
Thanks
Congratulations on such a great percentage! Even though you might be advised by many to take a drop and sit for JEE again next year, I would suggest you to utilise your percentage and take admission in Delhi University in a subject of your choice. And if you like so, you might prepare for JEE simultaneously as there is not much you are required to do after College. You will have sufficient time to brush up on your preparation again and sit for the exam again. You might clitch a seat next year in your dream engineering college but god forbid if you don't, you wouldn't have a gap year and can continue with your graduation. Speaking from personal experience.
Good luck. Hope it helped.
You can opt for physics, chemistry or mathematics whichever you are more interested and comfortable with so that you don't have to put too much efforts in your college studies and you can give a greater chunk of your time to JEE preparation and the subject you choose is also beneficial in JEE.
