Hi,from March to April approximately 1 year it is possible to get under 1000 rank in JEE advanced in one year whole 11th and 12th syllabus.
First of all, there are many students who study all the syllabus for JEE in one year and still score really good. I have seen many of my classmates scoring well by studying one year itself, so don't panic, you are not alone, many people are starting now!
But now need to be serious and plan efficiently.
Start by revising previous concepts and solving questions, practising previous year questions.
1.First master your NCERT, then pick up other books. If you have joined some coaching, then start solving the study packages.
2.If you have doubts, then ask your teacher to clarify them, there is no way for a teacher to refuse to clear your doubts. You can also watch online video of the chapter, and can refer solved questions.
3. Practice as much you can. Theory helps you to understand the concept but how much you learnt that concept can only be known through questions. Therefore, solve questions since they are going to ask questions not formula or theory.
4. Don't leave any topic untouched. You have no idea what is going to come in exam, so don't leave anything.
5. Go to the other books such as H.C Verma after you finish the study packages( if you have any)
6. You can also join one year courses for JEE which most of the premier Institutes provide. By this, work of planning is on them and you get to focus on your studies. They also have mock tests at all India level so you will get an idea where you stand now, what is your strong and weak areas, pattern of question paper etc. But fees is high for such courses.
7. Last but definitely not the least, be calm and positive. Don't take tension about time, such unnecessary stress will affect your concentration, instead just focus on your studies.

Remember one year is enough for you. Just work hard, you still have 100% chance to get rank under 1000 in JEE.
Feel free to ask questions if you have any.
All the best!
