How are the Placements at jntu jagitial ?

Placements of the college are pretty decent. There are different courses offered by the college they are as follows:- regular B.tech, IDP, IDDMP and IIDDMP. Placements of the regular BTech and IDP are very good and nearly 80% of the students are placed in top MNCs.But as the placements for IDDMP and IIDDMP programs are the worst, only 20-30% get placed in companies.Students are encouraged to do internships but not mandatory. College provides a TPO(Training and placement officer) which brings a lot of companies to the college and provide trainings.
The average salary of a student who gets placed is around 4-5 LPa. Most software companies visits the campus. Companies like TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, ZOHO, L&T, GGK, CGG, ZENQ, GRIFEO TECHNOLOGY, WESTLINE SHIPPING MANAGEMENT, CTRLS, VEDA SERVO.
The max package that a student placed from the college is 15 lac per annum and minimum package is 3.5lac per annum.
