For CEPT University, the merit list for B.Arch admission is prepared in the following manner:
- The merit list for 40 seats (50% of available seats) consists of applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in the State of Gujarat including Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, and have appeared NATA. To qualify for these seats, the Applicant has to apply to the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), GoG, separately.
- The merit list for rest of the 40 seats (50% of available seats) consists of applicants who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India and have appeared in NATA. Applicant has to apply to CEPT University.
Similarly, for Nirma University the above categorization is applied for preparing merit list:
- Through ACPC, 50% Seats of total intake i.e. 40 seats will be offered.
- Through All India Category Quota of NATA, 35% of seats i.e. 28 seats will be offered.
- Through NRI Quota, 15% of the seats i.e. 12 seats will be filled in the merit list.

Thanks for your reply. Further I wish to know which subjects of 12 th exam are considered for merit preparation in case of student is from GUJARAT state. Specifically I wish to know if marks of English and computer subjects are also considered or not? GUJARAT board also conducts practical exam for computer, physics and chemistry. Does that carry any importance?
To be eligible for ACPC seats for B. Arch, you need to have passed your +2 Gujrat board exams with mathematics or Statics or Business Mathematics as one of the subjects. You need to have minimum 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ SEBC).
It doesn't have specific requirements regarding practical marks.
