Physics:
A) According to Syllabus Weightage-
In the physics portion for JEE Main, there are 11 topics which you should spend good amount of time on:
Dimensional Analysis – Although a very easy chapter but knowing correct units and dimensions for physical quantities can
easily help you to eliminate options in multiple choice type of questions
Gravitation & Electrostatics – These chapters are conceptually similar to each other (in terms of attractive forces concepts)
Current Electricity & Heat Transfer –again these are conceptually similar to each other. So, when you read these chapter
watch out for the similarities (which might be deceiving at times)
Electromagnetic Induction, Waves & Sound, Geometrical Optics , Thermodynamics, Kinetic Theory of Gases, Rotational Dynamics.
These topics are classified as fundamentals in physics. You can expect 1 – 2 questions from this section on an actual JEE Paper:
Kinematics – Weightage: 1%
Newton’s Laws of Motion –Weightage: 4%
Friction
These 5 topics are IMPORTANT & EASY and can help your score high marks very easily in the JEE:
Work, Energy and Power – Weightage: 5%
Electrostatics – Weightage: 6%
Hello Aspirant, As you said that you have given the boards exam recently then your concepts in PCM are quite clear then i suggest you not read anything much more, these concepts are enough for you i only advice you to just only join the test series that are conducted by the coaching institute that helps much more to get yourself eligible for Jee Advanced and one more thng is that you should go through the NCERT book specially in chemistry that helps you to secure good marks in it.
Hope you find it relevent and remember that revision is the most important for you that helps you alot.
Good Luck Guy!!!
Dear aspirant, getting good score in jee mains is not a big deal. You should be sure you that you have covered all the important topics which are repeatedly asked in jee mains before your board exams so that after the completion of board exams you should revise that topics. Best way to do this is solving previous year papers in some time frame. Most of the asked are of previous type .
The important topics are listed in the following link
