Your JEE mains 2021 marks are your total score out of 300. The subjects include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics where individual subject marks are out of 100. For each subject there will be a total of 30 questions (20 MCQs + 10 numerical value) out of which 25 questions are needed to be answered. Each question will carry 4 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The toppers score is given 100 percentile. The next lower percentile is given by considering 100 percentile. To clear confusion, percentile is calculated till 7 decimal points.
The Percentile of a Candidate is calculated as :
100 X Number of candidates appeared in the 'Session' with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate/ Total number of the candidates appeared in the 'Session '.
Based on this percentile your All India rank in general category as well as your reserved category rank is calculated. Depending on this, you will be getting admission in various Engineering colleges.

No. of candidates appeared in that particular session with raw score equal to or less than yours = P
total number of candidates in that session= C
