There are two ways that you can obtain an internship from thee IIT's . They are through the regular Summer Research Fellowship Programs (Paid Internship) and the Unpaid Internship. Depending on the branch and the internship, the internships may be available for even students outside the institute. For example: IIT Roorkee, IIT Gandhinagar SRF, IIT Bhubaneswar SRF are known for their internship programs that follow a stipend of upto Rs 4,500 depending on the internship and professor involved.
