Hey!
National Institute of Fashion Technology is a dream college for every design student. Every year around 22,000 students appear for this exam and only 7000 of them get admission.
Hard work and dedication is not enough to crack the exam, you must follow some tips:
- Be creative and innovative - you need to think out of the box, and don't go for the common ideas.
- It is not enough to have good drawing/sketching skill. You must have good speed also. Work on your speed.
- You must have general knowledge about the latest things.
- Don't waste your time in erasing and redrawing, instead of that focus on outline and draw light handed sketch, once you are satisfied with your sketch, then improve it.

You haven't mentioned the course you have appiled in NIFT - BFTech or BDes. But the most crucial purpose of the test is to gauge your creative and imaginative skills. So try to improve your drawing skills as well as your creativity. If you are not speedy enough, these will be useless. Solve previous year papers by your own. Keep yourself aware about current happenings. Prepare general knowledge from books and newspaper. Spend time on reading fashion & design books/magazines. You should think out of the box in order to secure a good score.
