Hello dear,
It's good that you've selected that you are really looking forward to do microbiology . Let me give you a brief idea what you are the steps:
1. After your 12th , you have to qualify NEET or other pre medical entrance in the country as per your preferences to get admission in MBBS course which is of five and a half years including internship.
In those years of MBBS you come across almost 18 subjects and one of them is Microbiology and all of them you need to pass before appearing in post graduate exams.
2. For post graduate or masters in microbiology you need to give NEET pg and then opt for microbiology.
In those bachelor's and master's programme you will come across numerous opportunities to get involve in research projects too .
So good luck for your journey and if you've to ask anything related to that you can ask in the comments below.
Thanks

Either go for PhD or if want to do job then there are plenty of options , main ones are medical teacher or professor, research scientists and with the growing mass media impact digital articles, publications or medical journals of new discoveries are also a great option.
Minor ones are working in companies like food and drug industry or environment organisations.

Hello Thomas,
After finishing your mbbs, you will have to do MD, Microbiology is a paramedical subjects which you can choose as your speciality after you are done with MBBS.
The way we have neet UG to get admission into mbbs, similarly we have neet Pg, post graduation to get admission into specialities.
Goodluck.
Hope this helps.

Ok..the 1st Thing you need to do is you have to crack the Neet examination and then you have to get admitted to a college where you can pursue MBBS.
After you're through with 5.5 years of MBBS and you appear for Neet PG that is a post graduate medical examination entrance ...then you will be able to choose your stream of pursuing and MD or master degree in Medical Science in the subject microbiology in college or Institute of your choice after which you can practice as a doctor who is qualified in the field of microbiology in the post graduate level.
On the contrary if you just want to be a microbiologist you can also pursue a BSc and subsequently and Msc degree in microbiology and force you can even do PhD or DSC in that regard in the same subject in speciality of your choice. of course you won't be a doctor in that case
Last but not the least based on your class 12 examination marks there also courses like DMLT for which you need to fill an application forms and then you'll be subjected to various forms of counselling where in you can pursue a paramedical technical course on lab assistant ship in microbiology.
These are the various career options open in front of you in the field of microbiology. hope you enjoy...
