See, to become a psychologist you can take any stream in class 11th. But the preferred streams are SCIENCE and ARTS. Along with this you can also take Psychology as a subject.

Studying psychology in 11th and 12th provides a better understanding and keeps the basics strong.

Studying Biology helps to get a better understanding of human mind.

After completing your 12th you need to do BA or BSc in Psychology.

Then you can do Masters.

Further you can also do doctorate level via Phd. and MPhil.

if you aspire to be a psychologist in future, you can opt for arts stream and choose psychology subject including other subjects of your choice. But psychology is a must in 11th and 12th.
then after completing 12th, you can do B.A. psychology honours from any university. Some university give admission on merit basis others conduct entrance.
after graduating in psychology you can do MA in clinical psychology or applied psychology as per your interest.
