Thats a myth every second person is creating about the CET exam for is not for outsiders, any one in India can take CET there are seats reserved for maharashtra and non maharashtra students. Infact there are 12 centres outside maharashtra where students can give then exam. Students outside the state of Maharashtra are in a fix if they can take the test, and do they stand a fair chance. As a Non Maharashtra candidate, you indeed stand a good chance as 18 seats in MMS are there in every college and 120 all open seats (no state reservation) in PGDM seats in every college. If Non Maharashtra candidate wish to appear in MAH CET, they dont need to go to Maharashtra to take the test. There will be 34 examination centres in Maharashtra and 12 centres outside Maharashtra can be opted in order of preference to indicate the choice of centres Ahmedabad (Gujrat); Bengluru (Karnataka); Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh); Jaipur (Rajasthan); Kolkata (West Bengal); Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh); New Delhi (Delhi); Panji (Goa); Patna (Bihar); Raipur (Chattisgarh); Ranchi (Jharkhand) and Shrinagar (Jammu and Kashmir).
MAH-MBA/MMS CET shall be conducted online. There will be 200 multiple choice objective type questions (MCQs). MAH CET will be of 150 minutes duration test. Maximum marks awarded will be 200 meaning 1 mark per correct answer. There will be multiple sessions on second sunday of March. No penalty of negative marking for any wrong answer will be imposed. Candidates will not have any fear of losing marks on this count.
