I am studying biomedical engineering. I want to get seat in IIT for Mtech, which is the better subject in gate ?

As of now gate in not offered in biomedical engineering. It is better for the students of biomedical to choose the subjects such as instrumentation engineering and electronics and communication engineering for giving away the gate exam.
