I can get Mechanical branch at NIT Patna with state quota and Metallurgy at NIT Jamshedpur (OS) as per the last year cut off. Should I go for NIT Patna Or NIT Jamshedpur? Is metallurgy good over mechanical?
hi,
see you did not mention your percentile or score anything, which can not help us to give you any predictable college, however you may use jee main college predictor to know about you predictable college,
see nit jamshedpur and nit pattna both of the nits is excellent in terms of placement, infrastructure and faculty. now coming to metallurgical engineering, it is a part of mechanical engineering, and some of the syllabus has similarity with chemical engineering, however job and career view prospect, mechanical engineering is better choice then metallurgical engineering.
