I got 400 / 800 in manipal entrance exam. Do I get IT or CS in main campus?

CSE is a branch which is highly in demand. The rank cut off for getting CSE in the main campus is generally less than 2500. To get rank less than 2500, it is important that you score more than 50% marks in your entrance test which means you need to score somewhere around 500 to 550 marks to be confident of getting a seat in CSE branch in the main campus of Manipal University.
For securing a seat in the IT branch in the main campus, getting a rank around 3000 to 3500 is safe enough. On your score, you can easily get admission into the IT branch in the main campus of Manipal.

I got 4168 rank . Can I get IT in main campus. I have heard that many students drop MIT and take VIT. I hope I will get IT in main campus

Hello Lakshay!First of all, congratulations on your rank. Secondly yes it is true that people often prioritize VIT over MIT and thus do not take admission in MIT. Considering that and your rank, I think you are in a safe zone to get IT in the main campus of Manipal.I wish you all the best!Thank you
