I got 78 Percentile .can I get iiit or nit for OBC category

According to your percentile in jee mains your general rank will approximately close to 2,00,000 and your category rank will close 70000 ,with this percentile you will not able to qualify jee mains in general category and there is chance that you can will just qualify the cutoff of obc category, so the chances are are low for iiit and Nit.

Your chances of getting the IIIT or NIT with this much score of 78 percentile in JEE Mains examination is very low through your OBC category. So in my opinion, you should take a year drop and perform well in the examination, so that you can get a good NIT.
