To get admission in amrita university, you must required minimum 97 percentile to get admission in this university in ECE branch . I consider you as a general category candidate. The cut off varies on different factors like your category, open or home state, no of student apper in exam.. Anything above 92.93 percentile is sufficient for chemical engineering, civil engineering and Aerospace engineering.

see Amrita University has only 30% seats reserved for admission through JEE Mains. if you want to take admission in amrita University in ECE then you must have to score atleast somewhere between 90-96 percentile.
for Amrita University you need to have a rank 1- 6940 for open quota and 1-16547 for state quota. Also the amrita entrance depends on your rank not on marks so try on achieving a good score so that you get a good rank.
I'm sorry to inform you but with 82.5 percentile it's difficult to get admission in Amrita university as we all know that seats are very limited and admission is directly based on merit rank. In your case your rank must be around - 86901.

Now, looking at the previous year JEE mains cutoff, for Coimbatore Campus in Amrita, you have to score at least 96+ percentile in JEE mains and for CSE the minimum required cutoff is around 98-99 percentile in JEE mains.
