I got 89.58 percentile in feb attempt from OBC categery and I wish to admission in NIT Bhopal college plss help me thanks
Hi
With 89.58 percentile
-
your rank will be around 106597 - 119830 as per our rank predictor at
Your obc rank will be around 35,000.
Your profile suggests that your home state is Madhya Pradesh so you will be eligible for home state quota in NIT Bhopal.
I am extremely sorry to tell you but with above predicted rank you have extremely low chance in NIT Bhopal even under home state quota
For example,
In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, closing rank for gender-neutral for obc category was 15570 obc rank under home state in NIT Bhopal and it was for Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering
You can check the same at
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

Hello Aspirant,
If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 106597 - 119830 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile
Or
You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-
As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-
Closing OBC rank for NIT Bhopal was :-
Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering branch - 15570 (Home state quota)
Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering branch - 13699 (Other state quota)
And your OBC rank is expected to be around 28,000
So you have quite less chances to get NIT Bhopal even if you have Home state quota.
But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 93-95 then you might have a shot at NIT Bhopal.
You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

hello aspirant,
89.58 percentile would fetch you a rank around 106597-119830.As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc, based on your rank you have tough to no chances to fetch seat in nits, iiits.you need better percentile of 98+ to fetch seat in top nits, iiits.even for chemical engineering at nit bhopal the cutoff for round 6 closing rank was 10939 and your category rank is more than 35k .you can try in private engineering colleges using your jee percentile.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
