i have 90 percentile and general can i get any good nit? why general category people are avoided i even didn't get ews certificate

Having scored 90 percentile you cannot get admitted into any of the NITs or IIITs but still you have scored a good percentile and you can get admissions in some good private Engineering colleges like VIT,SRM,etc and some of the good private colleges in your state(leaving some of the top ones).Do best of luck.Hope I have resolved your query.Exams are always a way to measure the amount of hardwork you can put in and how much more you need to improve and work on yourself.So keep working hard and try your best.Fo not dishearten by the result as far as you know you gave your best.
