Hello aspirant,

Well NATA doesn't have any national level counselling process for admission into B.Arch courses. To get admission into a college which accepts NATA score, you have to attend the respective colleges counselling processes. After if you are selected on the basis of your score then you will be allotted a seat for B.Arch course. Now to qualify NATA, one has to score a minimum of 30 marks in mathematics and 20 marks in drawing, however the total marks should be 70. Since you have 116 marks, so you are NATA qualified and eligible to get a seat for B.Arch. Below I have provided a list of some of the goverment colleges where they accept NATA score -

  • Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda
  • Andhra University College of Engineering
  • Dayalbagh Educational Institute
  • Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University
  • Sir JJ College of Architecture
  • Rajib Gandhi Institute of Technology
  • Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute
  • Rajasthan Technical University

So these are some of the government colleges which accepts NATA score. Better attend the counselling process of your choice of college and see whether are you getting a seat or not.

You can go through this link and checkout the details of the above mentioned government colleges : https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-government-engineering-colleges-in-india-accepting-nata

Good Luck !!!!

Hello Saloni,

NATA Merit list score is calculated using a formula that is boards percentage + half of your NATA Score. If you get this merit list score between 150-160 then it will be easy to get in a government college. Your score is 135 so if you are from general category you might not get into any engineering college easily.

All The Best.

Hello,

Since you are from a reserved category ,so you do hold a chance of getting admission in a government college for b arch. Generally 100 + score and 85 + in 12th is considered a good score. But again since you are an sc candidate so you will also entertain certain relaxation in the cutoff.

Talking about the councelling process The Council of Architecture (COA), which is the exam conducting body, is not responsible for conducting counselling of NATA. Instead, candidates have to apply in the desired institute among the participating institutes separately based on their NATA scores for admission to B.Arch course. As the admission process for most of the colleges has already begun , so I recommend you to keep yourself updated about the same.

You can refer to the link given below for further details.

Good luck
