your question is not clear. you have not mentioned whether you want to go for chartered accountancy after graduation or after 12th. so let me tell you about both.

if you go for ca after 12th then you have to appear for the entrance test. you can take coaching for it. it is not difficult to clear the entrance.

if you go for ca after graduation, then you can directly appear for ipcc. there is no need for registering for the entrance.

Let us discuss strategies of each subject individually.



1 Accountancy



a) Focus on conceptual clarity . Do not mug up anything .



This is the only way in which you can enjoy the subject.This will help in solving any type of question as your base is strong.



b) Prepare a concept register. Watch the video of Neeraj Arora sir to know about it . It is a register in which only concepts are written .This helps in revising the subject as concepts are in a single register.



c)Mark page numbers on the register. After it , whenever you solve a question , write in the book, the page number of register, on which the question is solved. It helps in finding questions easily during the revision.



d)Solve all the questions of the study material provided by the institute.(specially the practical questions provided in the end as they are really practical and of a good quality).You may solve additional questions if you have joined coaching but at least study material must be solved.



e) Focus on everything but more on:( Based on distribution provided by the institute at the time of writing, must cross check)



Ratios . (this single chapter covers 15 -20% of marks) . Do not expect direct questions.Look at practical questions at the end to get an idea of how questions would be asked.Look at the November attempt question paper too. however the efforts that you will put will be miniscule compared to reward. Also , this is one of the most practical chapters so understand implication of each ratio.Company Accounts.(1015%) . Most students have strong grasp on this topic in class 12 )Accounting Process (2025% ) only 4 simple chapters .



f) IF you are not taking any coaching , refer youtube to understand difficult concepts.



2.Business laws



a).Focus on whys. Behind every law , there is a logic .Think why the law was made.Could it have been better ?



This helps in concept building.This increases analytical skills.This makes subject interesting.Otherwise , it is equal to cramming.Therefore , ignore the extra time and do focus on whys.



b)BOOKS: I shall suggest the study material of institute, despite its difficult language,



There are large no. of examples.if you learn to interpret a law , then you can interpret any law as most of them are written on same lines. Do this in intermediate by studying from best faculties, but I think you get the idea. Start understanding legal language as it will help you in future.



c)Make summary using charts , if possible. It helps a lot in revision.



d)Learn Presentation skills from you tube.it matters a lot.



3Busines Corresponding Reporting



a) Focus on study mat. I can not recommend much because I did not put much efforts as English was good in class 12.However this is a really good paper and you must focus on it.



4. Business maths



a) Make a separate copy for writing all the formulas and short cuts ( which your sir may teach you). It will help in revision.



b) I personally studied it from my sirs material . Icai material is



Repetitive : Too many easy questions in earlier exercises.Such questions are not asked generally.Difficult: In few chapters, miscellaneous exercise is very difficult, such as equations. Question of such level are not asked in Paper Generally.



c) Focus on time value of money because:



This single chapter covers 3040% weightage.(During time of writing)This will be used in future academics.



d)Solve a good set of questions again rather than solving more and more questions.



REASON:It will make up your speed and it will make you familiar with material.Mastery is more important than practicing randomly.



e) Focus on time taken to solve questions.Take measures to reduce it if it is too long.



5..STATISTICS and LR



a) Make a separate copy for writing all the formulas and short cuts ( which your sir may teach you). It will help in revision.



b) Read that copy again and again because there are many formulas .



c)Most of the topics will be property based. Focus on properties.



d) Focus on study mat. You may leave exercise c as it includes questions of 5 marks.



6. Business Economics:



a) Focus on concepts., solve study mat . more than enough.I shall advise to study from the material because some concepts such as demand forecasting and business cycle etc. are covered really well.However sometimes the explanation is less , in that case you may refer internet.



7.BCK



This was my favourite paper. Do read full study material with all examples to enjoy the beauty of the subject.



In 3rd chapter, there was a lot of stuff that needs to be crammed.I just remembered questions in the exercise along with questions of revision test paper. In the paper ,there were some questions based on general knowledge too.IN 6th chapter , where you find explanation insufficient. do refer to internet.Make sure to cover questions in the exercise completely as questions might get repeated.



General guidelines:



Must do Revision test paper and mock test paper because



a) Questions are of good quality



b)a large portion of questions gets repeated.( same to same or with minor modifications)



Enjoy your studies so that it does not feel like burden.Be consistent in studies.
