Placement details are sketchy as Chandigarh University just mentions overall placements and not specific to Petroleum Engineering. Given a choice, I would recommend that IIPE, RGIPT are better options for Petroleum Engineering but the entry is through JEE Advanced so it is tough to get there. I suggest you check out alumni reports and blogs to get a better insight. As for the study part, it is as good as any private university. Placements and career will largely depend on the students actually and this is the universal truth across all institutes and universities.
