Greetings Santosh,
yes, you can change it but beware as it could lead to lot of confusion at the time of results and counselling process. On the time of counselling, try to explain the officials about your situation and convince them by saying that your ews certificate wasnt available at that time and you had made it after JEE MAINS JANUARY, and now its ready.
try to convince them with proofs and you will be ready to go!
ALL THE BEST!
Hello,
Your january session will be taken as general category. if you apply for EWS in april session then you will have AIR (All India Rank) or common rank list and categorical rank.
As per your application form details, your category will remain it won't change as you have applied for another category in coming session. The session in which you have high mark will be considered for further process and counselling process. so if your january session is considered then you will go under general category else if your april session is selected then you apply through common rank list or EWS category.
try to bring high percentile that you secured in january session. You have appeared one so you know how the exam paper comes and what way you should answer that you will cover all the questions smoothy.
Practice lots of questions in the remaining time and give your best. You will get an admission in a good college for sure.
Hope it helps!
