According to the eligibility of the candidates, the list of available choices will be displayed after registration.
JEE Main 2018 qualified candidates will be able to choose from NITs, IIITs and GFTIs whereas JEE Advanced 2018 qualified candidates will be eligible for all institutes including IITs.
The selection of choices must be done according to preference.
After the selection is done, the candidates will be able to arrange their choices by selecting “Arrange Filled Choices”.
The options of “Choice Inter Change” and “Choice Rearrange” will also be available for the candidates to modify their selected options. After the rearrangement is done, the candidates can click on “Save”.
One or more options can be deleted by the candidates by selecting “Multiple Deletion”.
After all the choices are filled, the candidates can either select “I agree to lock my choices” or “I will lock my choices later”. However, all choices must be locked before the final date. A print out of the confirmed choices has to be taken out by the candidates by entering their JEE Main 2018 roll number and password or JEE Advanced password.
The choice filling process of JEE Advanced 2018 AAT candidates will be open tentatively from the third week of June 2018 after the result is declared.
Step 3 – Seat Allotment and Rank List Announcement
The process of JoSAA seat allotment 2018 will be conducted by the authorities in online mode. The entire JoSAA 2018 allotment process will be done based on the merit of the candidate and his/her preferred choices of participating colleges and course. JoSAA 2018 rank list will also be declared by the admission authorities. Those candidates who manage to meet the cutoff criteria will be listed out in the released rank list. The result of JoSAA 2018 counselling and seat allotment will be announced in online mode.
