If we take ou,there are 18 seats in mining stream for mtech.How can they divide 18 seats for all categories.I got 38rank from st category

Dear aspirant,
The total seats will be divided into 9 and 9 . As general will get 50% of the seats and the rest will get reserved. So out of 9 seats 27% will be for OBC which stands around 4-5 seats . SC gets 15% seats which will be around 2-3 seats followed by ST with 7.5% reservation will get 1-2 seats.
This should be the estimated breakup of all the seats.
