Is 11th and 12th standard syllabus is useful in btech. if it useful what are the chapters?
Dear,
The books won’t be of much use, but the topics for sure will be. Though it will depend on your branch and college, which in turn will decide your B.Tech course structure. You can still safely assume that you are going to need the Mathematics (Calculus, Differential Equations, Matrices, etc.) you used in you 11th and 12th class.
Further, the basics of a few topics of Physics like Thermodynamics and Electromagnetic Theory will be essential, and should certainly not be filtered out of the brain, once the entrance and board exams are over.
PS: If you know that you have Chemistry in some year of your B.Tech course, then carry J.D. Lee (Inorganic Chemistry) and Solomons & Fryhle (Organic Chemistry) with you. Though not all, some students might have referred to these books for entrance examinations. In engineering they’ll be a lot of help to you.
Hope this helps!
