Dear candidate,
Electronics and Communication Engineering is second most sought out branch after CSE in almost all colleges in India. ... IIIT Jabalpur has some fairly young and good faculties in ECE department.
Talking about the placement of ECE branch, it's not very exceptional but if one ends up achieving something in fours years of engineering and attain required knowledge and qualifications one can land up with a job of payscale around 6- 7 lac p.a. easily. If someone does something remarkable and achieves something exceptional he/she can easily get a high payable job. otherwise mostly people needs to go for off campus placement. Government Companies like DRDO & Brahmos also visit for placement. Overall ECE placement is average.
Hope the answer is helpful.
Good luck!
Hello Dinesh
