Candidates willing to take medicine as a career can opt for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) after the completion of Class 12. You need to score atleast 450 marks in NEET to get good government colleges for BAMS. You may also give some state level examinations which are accepted by your state colleges. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper,and the number of candidates appearing for it.

In order to take admissions to the Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course offered by AYUSH colleges in any Indian state, it is mandatory for you to appear in NEET and get valid score for admission in BAMS course.
Students who qualify NEET are eligible for admissions for BAMS admission . However, sometimes some states allow students for admissions who are not able to qualify the NEET UG exam.
