Is it possible to get admission in SPA university and sir JJ college for architect without getting gov seat in NATA?
Hello there.
You need to appear in NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture). The application procedure is simple. Just go to their (NATA) site and look for the application page. There are some changes in the exam pattern so better read all the instructions at the application page and the broucher. Last year, NATA’s scoring scheme was also kind of weird. But once you read the broucher you will know. It's fun, actually. :) Give your best in the exam because better the score, more the chances to clear it for Sir JJ College.
Now that you have given the test, the results come out pretty soon. Then you wait for the DTE to roll out the CAP. Then apply for that and choose Sir JJ as your choice. Applying for CAPs may be a new thing to you, so again I recommend reading the DTE broucher carefully. As the CAP rounds proceed, you will be allotted the college (if you have scored enough).
Calculating the score: NATA is for 200 marks. You have your 12th board result as well. So this is how you calculate the net score.
(Half the NATA score + 12th Boards score)
Scoring 150+ is very good. So now you know how much you need in NATA. Prepare for that and score well.
